Morning,
I've just signed up for the free trial and have a couple of issues: 1. When i am looking at stocks in the UK or Europe I need tp see data in the reporting currency (e.g. UK stocks in GBP). bUT screener.co seems to report everything in USD. Given the GBPUSD is constantly changing this could create some pretty wild swings in revenues etc! ha ha. Question: How and when do you convert (for the uk) GBP values to USD? 2. Is there really no ticker/symbol look up functionality? Thanks, |
Sam

You can click on any company in your screener results or watch list view, and then select View Company Profile from the menu that comes up. That will let you see the share price, key metrics, and all financial statement history in original currency (i.e. GBP for UK companies) by clicking on the "in Reporting Currency" tab.
When screening reported metrics from the financial statements, you can multiply by the "Currency Exchange Rate to USD" variable for the associated period. For example: Total Revenue(I) * Currency Exchange Rate to USD(I) will give you Revenue for the most recent interim period converted back to original currency. You can use the advanced screener to look up company names: companyname LIKE "%[partial name]%" with [partial name] replaced by a substring of the company name will return all companies matching that partial name. For example: companyname LIKE "%Microsoft%" will return NASD:MSFT (Microsoft Corporation). |
