Hi I'm looking at Receivables turnover-most recent fiscal year calculation.
Your instruction are: This is the ratio of Total Revenue for the most recent fiscal year divided by Average Accounts Receivables. Average Receivables is the average of the Accounts Receivables at the beginning and end of the year. I'm trying to calculate it from Balance Sheet and Income Statement table data. The result of Screener for APPLE (AAPL) is 13.6335 Data from Company Profile are: Total Revenue is 229,234 Account Receivable for last fiscal year is 35,673 Account Receivable end previous fiscal year is 29,299 I cannot reach the same result with these data. Could you please explain where am I wrong? Thanks. |

It appears that there is an error in the Apple data point. I tested Microsoft (MSFT), Google (GOOGL) and a few other companies, and their Receivables Turnover metrics are what you would expect given that data definition. Hopefully, this will be corrected in a future data update. I'm sorry that there isn't a good explanation or easy fix.
