Hello Lenny

You recently gave me a formula for shareholder yield. I'm very sorry, but could you tell me it again ? (I'm afraid I deleted the email.)

(Perhaps other readers of this forum will also want to know it after reading the new edition of O'Shaughnessy's What Works on Wall Street.)

Thank you very much,

PS I have upgraded my browser and find the Excel downloading feature amazingly fast. It should be easily possible to do O'Shaughnessy's new screens.

You can use the Cash Flow fields "Dividends Paid" and negative 1 times the "Sale or Purchase of Stock" to get the total dollars over a period returned to shareholders (counting sales of stock negatively)--you would then divide this by current market cap.
