Hi
I am trialing this at the moment. Curious, what's the data source for the application. Also, is there an api that I can use to pull data into pandas? I've got a bunch of scripts that I used to feed with yfinance but that's no longer working and I am curious if this app can be used instead |

We license data from Refinitiv for use within Screener.co. Our license does not allow us to expose the data via a programmatic API. A direct license from Refinitiv for that purpose would cost substantially more than our service.
One of the goals of our service is to let you run screens and analyses within Screener.co, itself, so you don't need to export the data and analyze it separately. |

I see, thanks. Need to work with this a little more to get a better Idea on how this works. Is there a way to download bulk balance sheet information for a given ticker as a cvs for example. That would already go a long way for me.

You can view a company profile, page over to the balance sheet (in either USD or original currency), and highlight the table of data with your mouse. In Chrome, you can then click on the menu in the upper right of the window and select "Copy". If you then open Excel, you can paste the data into an Excel sheet.
You can use formulas in Excel to convert the units ("k","M", and "B") into their numerical equivalents (so the quantities can be referenced by other quantitative formulas in Excel). |
