Hi!

Can I somehow create N/A results in Free Form Conditions?

Ie, something like: IF(1, NULL, 0)

Thanks,
Claes

Claes,

You cannot create NULL values in Free Form Conditions, but you can do so with the Advanced Screener. You can use the SQL CASE syntax to recode a variable. You can also create an Advanced Variable using the SQL CASE syntax to recode specific values to NULL.

There may be an easier way to do what you are trying to accomplish. Why do you want to recode values to NULL?

Oh, great!

That should do it. It works perfect in Advanced Variables, the IF-statement as well.

I'm calculating "cash burn" and in my case it's only applicable if Net Cash > 0 and CF < 0, and I'm using it in my Lists so I can't just screen for it first. I have had other cases before where I wondered if I could produce N/A, and now I can

Thanks!
