TOPIC: Additional columns in screener / standard columns

Additional columns in screener / standard columns 6 years, 10 months ago #248

It would help -- a lot -- being able to add more than only 10 columns.

In addition to that, it would be helpful if there were prefabricated 'column sets',
such as (but not limited to)

- a set of the most important fundamentals,
- a set with value factors such as P/E, EV/EBITDA, EV/FCF, PEGR etc.
- a set with profitability factors such as ROE, ROA, ROI, EBIT% of REV, etc.

Thanks.

The 10 column view is a licensing limitation. What you can do is save two identical screens with different column sets--allowing you to quickly load them (views/columns are saved when you save a screen).

There are pre-set views that can be loaded using the Views menu above the screener results. That allows you to quickly change the full column set. By saving custom screens, you can also create your own column sets with your own (up to 10) custom metrics. You can even use one of your saved screens (with its own saved column set) as a starting point to create a new custom screen (which can then be saved separately).

Hi,

thanks for the quick reply and the hint to use the VIEW menu.

Understanding that the 10 columns are a licensing limitation, is it possible to add a different type of subscription with extended rights, such as advanced display of more columns? If enough subscribers would support that, could this be a solution, so you could get an advanced license for this?

Also, please note my second post in the same category (feature requests) about the screen saving functionality. looking forward to hear from you about this one as well.

Thanks,
Ralph

Larger exports/views will likely not be supported in the short term. If enough subscribers are willing to pay substantially higher license fees for that functionality, we may be able to go back to Reuters and try to negotiate for an expanded license that would enable that functionality. However, I do not think there is sufficient demand yet for that to be viable.
